Any company begins with a concept. You’ll notice that I’ve focused on the emotional aspects of individuals rather than the physical or financial aspects in the post. Call me metaphysical, but everything happens in the head. It’s something I’ve seen and encountered many times. When your mind is completely engaged, there is nothing you can’t accomplish. Let’s get started.
Step 1: Figure out what you want to do with your life.
To start a company, you must first decide what you are truly passionate about. “How critical is that?” you might ask. The solution is straightforward. You don’t want to get trapped in a job that you despise. A brand new business requires a lot of preparation and execution, but if you’re enthusiastic about it, it won’t feel like work at all compared to a business you don’t care about. Happiness is, after all, the end product of all we do in life. Why not do a job that makes you happy when you’re doing it?

Step 2: How to Get It Sold
Let’s find out how to bill people who need the kind of service you can offer now that you’ve discovered your passion. Even if your hobby is the most absurd of all time, believe me when I say that there are millions of people who would appreciate your assistance. In reality, the stranger and more unusual your passion, the more likely you are to succeed simply because that form of business does not yet exist. That isn’t to say you shouldn’t pursue your passion if it is something normal or ordinary. Even if it’s anything common, if you really enjoy it, you’ll still find a way to do things differently than anyone else, and that in and of itself is a winner.
Let’s pretend you have a love for automobiles. In a car garage, auto parts shop, or repair and improvement shop, you have a better chance of succeeding. Sure, there are a lot of them out there, but if you really like it, it will be exclusive. Perhaps your shop has a nice waiting area where customers can relax and enjoy a complimentary beverage when they drop off or pick up a vehicle, or you give free stickers as an incentive for having their brakes repaired. You’ll figure it out once you’re in the market.
Step 3: Make a plan
Prepare a presentation by writing down your specific ideas. Take your time with it. This section should not be rushed. If a new idea comes to you when you’re already dreaming, don’t be afraid to change your mind. Edit and change until you’re completely happy and have a consistent mental image of your business. I can’t stress how important this is. You must be fully straightforward and confident. If some aspects of the plan are unclear, take a break, do something else, and return to the planning table when your mind is clear. You’ll see how we’ll reuse this move several times later.
It’s important to note that I’m not discussing the “Hows.” You’re not worried about how you’ll start the company at this stage. That will be discussed later. At this point, it’s all about the “Whats.” If you start thinking about the “Hows,” you’ll end up ruining your strategy because you’ll be thinking about stuff like “How am I going to get the money,” “How am I going to find an ideal place,” and so on. When you’re clear on the “Whats,” the “Hows” will appear.
